Frequently Asked Questions

Get the answers you need, fast. Below are some common questions about our services, care options, and policies. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us directly.

  • Do I need an appointment for a DOT Physical?

No, walk-ins are welcome at all locations. However, to speed up your visit, please bring your valid driver's license, your current medical card (if renewing), and your glasses or contacts if you wear them.

  • Does insurance cover Sports Physicals?

Typically, no. Most insurance plans consider sports physicals to be "administrative services" rather than medical treatment.

  • What should I bring for a School Physical?

Please bring the specific form required by your school or sports league (like the MHSAA form). Our provider needs to fill out specific sections during the exam. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you.

  • What happens if I have high blood pressure during my DOT exam?

If your blood pressure is high, we may issue a temporary medical card (e.g., for 3 months) to allow you to keep driving while you manage the condition. Our providers will discuss your options to help you stay on the road safely.
